Location: Perth, Australia
Year: 2021
Client: WA Government
Builder: ADCO
Scope: $10 million
Prime contractor ADCO was hired by the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) to renovate and transform the gallery’s rooftop and relocate laboratory spaces to a renovated basement area. ADCO would also raise the floor system and add an external elevator shaft and a skybridge. As part of the renovation, the project would require an estimated 75 tonnes of steel.
ADCO contacted us to do the 3D modelling and steel detailing. Our team of experts began the 3D modelling design before moving on to the detailing phase. We also supplied the steel, installed the steel structure, lift shaft, façade support structure and the skybridge.
