Location: Perth, Australia
Year: 2023
Client: Curtin University
Builder: Lendlease Construction
Scope: $60 million
Lendlease Construction was hired by Curtain University to renovate the TL Robertson Library. The $60 million project would update the 50-year-old building, revitalising existing spaces while preserving the Brutalist architecture and adding a new six-story services tower. The project also required a new roof spanning over the whole building.
Lendlease engaged Lighthouse Engineering for the supply of steel structures, facade support structures, stair tower, and other miscellaneous steelworks.
Our project management and design team worked closely with Lendlease and its designers to produce fully coordinated 3D models (BIM) and shop drawings, which enabled the supply of defect-free steel frames. Our steel structures were installed by WA Universal Rigging to the Lendlease requirements.
Always setting the benchmark for excellence in customer service, quality and reliability.
